Makayla is currently a first-year student at Central and a copy editor/staff writer at the Collegian. After completing general education courses at Central, she plans to transfer to the University of Washington. Makayla is interested in pursuing the fields of journalism and public policy, along with minoring in linguistics/a foreign language. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, listening to music, playing board games, and drinking tea.
