Panda Fest: What it is, and what to expect

Panda Fest, one of America’s largest outdoor Asian food and culture festivals, makes its debut in Seattle from June 6-8, 2025, at the Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center. This three-day extravaganza offers a celebration of Asian cultures, featuring over 70 authentic Asian street food options, over 15 artisanal vendors showcasing handcrafted products, and vibrant cultural performances representing diverse Asian traditions.

The festival’s centerpiece–a magnificent 15-foot inflatable panda–will offer unforgettable photo opportunities for attendees.

“We’re thrilled to bring Panda Fest to Seattle for the first time,” said Biubiu XU, festival CEO.  “This festival represents a unique opportunity for Seattleites to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Asian cultures while enjoying an incredible selection of authentic cuisine and entertainment.”

Panda Fest’s mission is to unify cultures through food and art. In addition to celebrating diversity, the festival also serves as a platform for raising brand awareness for participants. With its growing impact, Panda Fest aims to become a nationwide celebration of Chinese food and culture.

Now for the pressing question: What should visitors expect?

Every attendee will receive two complimentary gifts: a custom-designed panda pin featuring Seattle landmarks and a festive headband. Ticket prices start at $15, with VIP tickets priced at $35. VIP admission includes access to less crowded areas and three free gifts: a Seattle-themed panda pin, a headband, and a bag. The Seattle Panda festival offers free entry to children under age 6.

The fest offers more than 300 Asian Street Food stalls representing countries like China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and more. Food options range from steaming dumplings and sushi rolls to spicy street food and decadent desserts–mouthwatering at the mere thought of it.

The festival also features a market of merchandise inspired by Asian culture, including handmade crafts, clothing, accessories, and specialty ingredients. The fair offers a chance to take home a piece of Asia, whether it’s traditional calligraphy art, artisanal teas, or contemporary designs with cultural flair.

And of course, there is a show-stopping 15-foot inflatable panda, along with panda-themed delights from vendors–everything from panda-shaped treats to charming panda-inspired packaging. The entertainment lineup includes traditional music, contemporary Asian pop, vibrant dance routines, and theatrical acts.

Panda Fest

Although Panda Fest only launched in 2024 in New York, it quickly captured the hearts of NYC residents, earning rave reviews for its abundant and delicious food. Now making its Seattle debut, the festival has already sold out of its early bird tickets.

The big question: Will general admission and VIP tickets sell out next?
